A wonderful late 19th Century French Single Light Hanging Lantern with the distinct Louis XIV "Versailles" Style. The blown glass body is molded and beveled to highlight the single light. The gilt bronze cap is framed with floral decorative ties and topped with a ceiling rosette. The base is beautifully decorated with a bronze finial.
This versatile chandelier was initially used as a hall light but is very easily adaptable to many room situations.
Includes a canopy and 30“ of chain. Wiring is updated.
