Artist: Ernest Justin Ferrand (1846-1932)
Ernest Justin Ferrand was a French artist who was active in the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. He regularly participated in the Paris Salon from 1882. His work is composed of mythological characters, allegories and various scenes. His complementary fisherman sculpture "Pêcheur au harpon" recently sold at auction at Christie's New York for $8,750 in Oct. 2018.
